What do you find interesting in the park designs that should be explored further?
“I have often thought that Governor's Island could be dedicated to the Eldery and to homeless youth. These are the most vulnerable citizens in NYC so an Island would be a safe haven.
â¢Excellent re-use/re-habilitation potential for of the existing historic architecture
⢠plus some child and geriatric services
⢠in a beautiful public park.
⢠Assign each child a resident "grandparent"; give everyone the support they need.
