In fact, most of us architects have several doubts on how a point checklist can be able to evaluate architecture. The most relevant aspect of the LEED movement, in my opinion, is that it is the first mainstream recognition for sustainable practices in buildings. What makes LEED certification so important is that it establishes a common ground for everyone, from a teacher to a businessman, to be able to point their fingers to buildings and say- That is a real sustainable building.”
